Production Manual Rehearsal Safety Protocols

The Learners

Students, Faculty and Staff in an educational theatre program

The Challenge

To use design principles to create a clear and appealing document that guides rehearsal safety procedures.

The Design Strategy

I created this instructional document in MS Word using styles to auto-generate a table of contents. The document highlights words to be read aloud and chunks information into categories to aid processing.

Automotive Insurance Fluency for High School Seniors

The Learners

The target learners are High School Seniors, but the document is written for High School teachers to facilitate.

The Challenge

This group project is a proposal for a collaborative instructional unit to teach high school seniors about auto insurance. It is not the finished course, but a suggested outline.

My team completed this project for the course, The Design of Online Collaborative Learning. One group member, Robert Hunn, works in this field and served as the SME for the group, as well as an instructional designer. The objective of the project was to identify an instructional problem and propose an instructional solution using positive collaborative processes. My team met weekly to plan, share work, and review offerings toward creating a cohesive document.
